Refund Policy
Please read through the refund policy for the type of course or workshop that you’re considering purchasing. I’m excited to be part of your learning journey and want to make sure it’s as positive experience as possible for everyone.
Sale prices
Sale prices are a one time, deeply discounted offer and are final sale. When you enroll, you receive immediate access to the self-paced training library, including downloadable study materials and popular recorded trainings from previous years. These resources are yours to keep. Because a large portion of the program content (about 70%) is delivered in a downloadable format and is provided upfront, refunds are not available once access to the course content has been granted.
Online modules and training programs
Myofascial Yoga and Reiki workshops are held online via Zoom. When you register for an online program, you will be granted access to replay links, bonus materials, and extra reading material. These resources are yours to keep. Because of the downloadable format for these materials, along with the extensive time, effort, preparation and care that goes into creating them, refunds are not available for any online workshops or training once you have received access to the course content.
In-person workshops
Your initial deposit secures your spot. In workshops with limited attendance, other people are turned away when classes fill up so, withdrawals result in empty spots. For this reason, the registration deposit is non-refundable for all in-person events.
Refunds less the initial deposit and any transaction fees are offered up to three weeks prior to the event date for local (in Okotoks, Alberta) or one month prior to the start date for out-of-town (outside of Okotoks, Alberta) trainings.
When cancellations don’t meet the three-week requirement for local events, fees are fully transferable to another workshop, to another person, or refunded less a 35% handling fee.
When cancellations don’t meet the four-week requirement for out-of-town trainings, fees are fully transferable to a different training date or refunded less a 45% handling fee.
In-person trainings and retreats
Refunds less the initial deposit and any transaction fees are offered up to 6 weeks prior to the start date for all in-person residential trainings and retreats.
When cancellations don’t meet the six-week requirement for in-person residential trainings or retreats, fees may be partially transferable to a different training date or refunded less a 45% handling fee.
There are no refunds for cancellations within two-weeks of in-person residential trainings and retreats. Fees may be partially transferable to another training date, depending on the circumstances of your cancellation.
Full 200-, 300- and 500-hour programs
Your initial deposit secures your spot. In programs with limited attendance, other people are turned away when classes fill up, so withdrawals result in empty spots. For this reason, the registration deposit is non-refundable for all registrations on the full 200-, 300- and 500-hour programs. The remainder of your payment is either fully or partially refundable:
Refunds less the initial deposit and any transaction fees are offered up to two weeks prior to the event date for local (in Okotoks, Alberta) and online workshops, or four weeks prior to the start date for out-of-town (outside of Okotoks, Alberta) trainings.
When cancellations don’t meet the two-week requirement for local and online events, fees are fully transferable to another workshop, to another person, or refunded less the $150 deposit and a 15% handling fee.
When cancellations don’t meet the four-week requirement for out-of-town trainings, fees are fully transferable to a different training date or refunded less the $150 deposit and a 35% handling fee.
Withdrawal partway through the 200-, 300- and 500-hour programs
These programs are intentionally held in small groups to facilitate the experiential feel of a safe container for a trauma-informed program. Due to the limited space, people are often turned away and awaiting future training dates. Withdrawal partway through results in an empty space that could otherwise have been filled. Withdrawal partway through the course can also disrupt group dynamics. For these reasons, your registration deposit is non-refundable for the full 200-, 300- and 500-hour programs. The remainder of your payment is either fully or partially refundable based on the following requirements:
Our program typically has a ‘flex start’ option, which means that registration remains open for the first 3 months of the program. During this time, refunds on remaining modules are available, less a 15% handling fee and the $150 deposit.
After the 3-month mark, once the registration is closed, whether it’s a local or online event, fees on remaining modules are partially transferable to another workshop, to another person, or refunded less the $150 deposit and a 35% handling fee.
Fascia-Informed Reiki
The Fascia-Informed Reiki program is intentionally held in small groups to facilitate the experiential feel of a safe container for a trauma-informed program. Due to the limited space, people are often turned away and awaiting future training dates. Withdrawal part way through results in an empty space that could otherwise have been filled. Withdrawal partway through the course can also disrupt group dynamics. This program is also offered at the lowest cost possible to allow for accessibility and inclusivity. For these reasons, your registration is non-refundable after the start date of the program.
